Privacy Policy
ROOK is a small family video and photo company in Northern Kentucky. We collect what we need to shoot your job and get it to you, and nothing else. We do not sell your information.

What we collect
When you book or contact us: your name, email, phone number, the address of the shoot, and whatever you tell us about the job. If you pay through the site, our payment processor handles the card — we never see or store the number.
When we shoot: the photos and video we take on the job, which may include the property, the products, and the people who agreed to be on camera.
When you visit the site: our host keeps standard server logs — page requested, rough location, browser, time. We do not run advertising trackers or sell visitor data.
Why we have it
To schedule the shoot, send the crew to the right address, deliver your files, invoice you, answer your questions, and keep a record of work we have done for you. If you have hired us before, we may email you about your own jobs. We do not add you to a marketing list without asking.
Who else touches it
Only the services that make the work happen, and only the part each one needs:
- Aryeo — real estate booking, scheduling, delivery and payment.
- Square — card payments taken through this site.
- Google (Workspace, Drive, Calendar) — our email, our calendar, and where finished files are stored and shared.
- Wix — hosting for this website.
- n8n — our own automation server, which moves a booking through to the crew and back to you.
- Our crew and editors — shooters and editors working on your job, who get the footage and the shoot details and nothing more.
We hand information to no one else unless you ask us to, or the law requires it.
Your photos and video
You own the right to use the finished work you paid for, under the terms of your booking. We may show pieces of it in our own portfolio and on our social accounts. If you would rather we didn't — a private home, a client who wants it quiet, anything — tell us and we will take it down and keep it out. No argument, no fee.
How long we keep it
Finished deliverables stay in Drive so you can come back for them. Raw footage is cleared off our drives once a job is delivered and settled. Booking and invoice records are kept as long as we are required to for tax and accounting.
Getting it deleted
Email kat@rookdm.com and ask. We will tell you what we hold, and delete what we are not legally required to keep. We do not charge for this and we do not make it difficult.
Children
We shoot a lot of high school athletes. When the athlete is under 18, we take direction from a parent, guardian or the school — they decide what gets published. Remove a young athlete's footage at any time by emailing us.
Security
Accounts are protected with passwords and two-step sign-in where the service supports it. No system is perfect; if something involving your information ever went wrong, we would tell you rather than hope you didn't notice.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
