The plain version of how we work together: what you get, what it costs, when it lands, and what happens when plans change.

Booking a job
A booking is confirmed when you have picked a date through our booking page and we have sent you a confirmation. What you booked — the package, the address, the time — is what we are showing up to do. Extra work added on the day is quoted separately.
Paying
Prices are the ones shown at the time you booked. Card payments run through Square; real estate invoicing runs through Aryeo. Unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, payment is due on delivery. Work stays undelivered on unpaid invoices.
Rescheduling and cancelling
Tell us as early as you can and we will move you, free, to the next date that works. Weather is not your fault — outdoor shoots get moved at no charge. Cancelling inside 24 hours of the shoot, or nobody being there when the crew arrives, may be billed at half the job to cover the slot we held.
Getting it back
Delivery windows are listed on each service's page and in your booking. Real estate photos come back the next business day. If a job is going to be late, we tell you before it is late.
Revisions
If something is wrong — a shot missed, a name spelled wrong, a cut that isn't what you asked for — send it back and we fix it. That is not an extra. Re-cutting to a brief you changed after the edit was approved is new work, and we will quote it.
Who owns what
You get the right to use the finished photos and video you paid for, in your own marketing, listings and social accounts, for as long as you want. ROOK keeps ownership of the raw footage and the underlying work, and may show pieces of the finished job in our portfolio and social accounts. Ask us to keep your job private and we will.
Reselling or licensing our work to a third party, or handing it to another business as their own, needs our written go-ahead first.
What you're responsible for
Access to the location, permission to be there and to film, and clearance for anyone appearing on camera. For shoots involving people under 18, a parent, guardian or the school signs off. Have the place ready — our shoot-day prep guide covers what "ready" looks like.
Where we shoot
Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati, Southeast Indiana, Louisville and Lexington are covered. Further out is welcome and may carry a travel fee, quoted before you book.
Limits
Gear fails and days go wrong. If we cannot deliver a job, our liability is limited to refunding what you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect losses — a listing that sat, a sale that didn't happen, a campaign that underperformed.
Ending it
Ongoing and monthly arrangements can be ended by either side with 30 days' notice. Work already shot and delivered is still payable.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. The terms that apply to your job are the ones in place when you booked it.
